01 / THE OVERVIEW+
A little less tethered. A lot more open.
The best part of getting away? Deciding what comes with you.
Portable power can make room for a few familiar comforts, wherever you set up camp. The DELTA 3 is one option worth understanding before it earns a place in your boot.
We cut through the specifications, ask the practical questions and put the trade-offs in plain English. So you can choose for the trip you actually take.
Good decisions leave room for the details. Here are the ones we’d check first.
An editorial overview, not a hands-on review.
01Capacity is not a runtime promise.
Watt-hours describe stored energy. Real runtime depends on your devices, cycling loads, conversion losses, temperature and reserve settings. We have not independently tested this unit and do not publish tested runtime claims.
02Check the load. Then check it again.
Add up the devices you intend to run together and account for start-up demand. A rated output is not a compatibility guarantee. Confirm your appliance requirements against the current Australian product manual.
03Portable still means carrying it.
Think about your vehicle layout, lifting height and the distance from car to camp. Allow space around the unit for ventilation, and follow the manufacturer’s storage and operating instructions.
04Solar is a system, not just a panel.
A compatible panel, suitable cables and useful sunlight all matter. Weather, shade and panel orientation affect charging. Check voltage and current limits; confirm which accessories your selected bundle includes.
